Occupation 101

I am posting this because it’s the first time I see non-Arabs non Muslims saying the truth about the Zionists terrorism in Palestine, following is the synopsis:

"A thought-provoking and powerful documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Unlike any other film ever produced on the conflict -- 'Occupation 101' presents a comprehensive analysis of the facts and hidden truths surrounding the never ending controversy and dispels many of its long-perceived myths and misconceptions. The film also details life under Israeli military rule, the role of the United States in the conflict, and the major obstacles that stand in the way of a lasting and viable peace. The roots of the conflict are explained through first-hand on-the-ground experiences from leading Middle East scholars, peace activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices have too often been suppressed in American media outlets. The film covers a wide range of topics -- which include -- the first wave of Jewish immigration from Europe in the 1880's, the 1920 tensions, the 1948 war, the 1967 war, the first Intifada of 1987, the Oslo Peace Process, Settlement expansion, the role of the United States Government, the second Intifada of 2000, the separation barrier and the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, as well as many heart wrenching testimonials from victims of this tragedy. Well Ayda, unfortunately it is the reality that we are leaving that Arabs are divided within themselves on whom they should support. I think this is the first time in our history where we see some of our own people taking the other side! It is not that bad if we were mistaken. But to see the utter truth and then take the wrong side is something definitely disappointing.

As for 7iber, I'm not really sure what is the direction the authors are taking, but it seems like a fashion these days to call yourself a moderate and follow the track of those who give any excuses to discredit the resistance!!

I wouldn't go as far as calling them complicits simply because I didn't read the article, but I've seen other arab bloggers, and sadly some of them are jordanians and palestinians who decided that the only way to get back our rights is to follow the ill-advised approach of Fatah and their so-called moderates!

We are living in dark ages indeed. But contrary to what the writer of the article you are talking about thinks, the reason is the brainwashing ideas we've been fed which made us no longer sure of our identity or cause!

It is sad, I totally agree with you.
